Well, I wasn’t talking about that Trigger. Nor, the ones on guns. I’m thankful for emotional triggers. They are like the pain you feel when your finger gets too close to a flame. They tell you something is amiss.
Over the last few days, I’ve had some triggers arise through conversations, things I’ve seen, and places I’ve been. While the triggers are never terribly comfortable, they are always a gift. They remind me there is something in me needing healing. There is emotional or relational pain and I need to get at the root of that pain. I know my life will be better when I do. So, I am thankful for those triggers. They are a gift from God.
As you listen to the TS10 this week, allow the triggers to be pulled for you. Instead of running away from them, lean into them. Seek their origins. Ask God to heal.
Blessing to you… Ed
